Event Details
Join us as Josephine Wilt shares her recent incredible journey through China and what she learned of its local culture, history, food and especially its people. This was Josephine's first solo adventure in decades where she left her husband behind in Cave Creek with their dog to join a group of fellow adventurers for 23 days in the far off country. There, she engaged with Chinese villagers using only her charming smile and two words of Chinese. Come experience Josephine's unique perspective on exploring rivers, mountains, villages and cities of China through amazing photographs, intriguing keepsakes and her heartwarming stories.
After 35 years in information technology, Josephine has dramatically switched gears and has become a multimedia artist focused on turning cast off materials rescued from local thrift stores, dumpsters (yes, dumpsters) and desert landscapes into fine art.
