Program Description

Event Details

What would Easter, Passover, or life in general be without chocolate! The love of chocolate does not discriminate. No matter how old you are, where you are from, how much money you have or what your status is - chances are there is some kind of chocolate that you can’t say no to! There is a reason why people around the world love chocolate - it actually causes a chemical reaction in the brain that makes you happy!

Rich visual examples from museums and historical records trace the culture of chocolate through art and artifacts - from early Mayans, Jewish chocolate merchants, our presidents and heroes, to the sweat shops of NYC and the soldiers of WWII. Together we will taste some chocolate to fully experience its appeal!
