This series of lectures offers an exploration of Travel Art Production and the Hidden Classically Trained Artists from the late 1800's.

Part 1 (October 8): Travel Sketching and Painting on Your Vacations and in "Your Own Backyard"

Join Roberta as she will discuss and display her famed mixed media art works created, on location, during her 30 years traveling and guiding her art trips throughout Western Europe. She will also be discussing and demonstrating the art supplies that she works with while she is traveling.

Part 2 (October 15): Discover the Hidden Classical Artists from the Late 1800s

Roberta will speak about the artists that painted during the Impressionist Movement but continued using the tenants of Classical Fine Art that were studied by Michelangelo, Da Vinci and Caravaggio through their adherence to the laws of nature explored during the Renaissance Period, 1400 - 1600.

Part 3 (October 22): Discovering Classically Trained Women Artists from the Renaissance to the Late 1800s

Roberta will be discussing the artists Artemisia Gentileschi, Anna Archer and Sofinisba Anguissola. Join her as she brings relevance to these three major women painters from Italy and Denmark.
