Program Description

Event Details

Join us for an inspiring presentation that will unlock some secrets of the starry skies. During the presentation, Bob Ewing will take you on a journey through the celestial sky and discuss how stars and constellations in our sky were named and mapped. He will also share how these stars and constellations move and change over time, and how they may appear from the Earth's moon or Mars.

In northern Cave Creek, off a semi-paved residential road, sits a white domed structure, the Star Barn Planetarium. How did this planetarium come do be? Well, what does one do when they retire? Some go fishing, some go traveling, and Ron Walker built a planetarium in his yard to share the beauty of the night sky. Come listen to Ron's story of his love affair with the planetarium projector, and how you too can share in his love of the night sky.
