Program Description

Event Details

Pamela is a photo-based artist who digitally manipulates her photographs to bring out the visual complexity and psychological depth in each of her images. Two of her "Bible Babes" are featured in the new temporary hallway exhibit, "Story Keepers for Story Seekers."

In this talk Pamela will share more images and talk about how she reimagined contemporary portraits of these matriarchs in the Hebrew bible in an effort to respectfully round out these powerful women as we might imagine them today. Pamela will share insights and stories revealed in there and her other series, including "Floral Fancies," "Covid 19 Mythologies," and "All Inclusive Tea Party" along with new work with the dog portraits.

Pamela's work has been shown nationally and internationally, including Israel, Budapest, New York City and Scottsdale, Arizona. If you're seeking to understand what's behind Pamela's work on display in the new library hallway gallery then come meet Pamela on March 27 and engage with of her work.
