Event Details
Charoset (Haroset), part of the Passover Seder…is a fascinating sweet mixture of finely chopped fruits and essential to the meal tradition of “telling the story.” It symbolizes the mortar used to build the pyramids and celebrates the Exodus of Jews from Egypt.
This program is in conjunction with the temporary art exhibit, “Story Keepers for Story Seekers.” One of the exhibit’s Story Keepers (artists) will join us as we share more Judaica and recipe variations compiled in a take home packet.
Bring your own stories, recipes and taste a few samples along with recipes we'll share!
