Event Details

Movies are a great way to learn about different cultures - how people live, love, laugh, and cope with hardships and tragedy. This series will explore films from different countries, each one telling a story unique to their culture and country. A post-film discussion facilitated by Gary Zaro, Humanities Professor from Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC), will follow. 

September 12: The Man Who Sold His Skin (Tunisia; 2002, NR, 102 min.)

October 10: Alone With Her Dreams (Italy; 2019, NR, 92 min.)

November 14: Going to Brazil (France/Brazil; 2016, R, 94 min.)

December 12: No Movie (Rescheduled to January 30, 2026)
