Join certified Pilates trainer Dian Nissen in this energizing exercise program that combines Pilates principles with simple strength training and sculpting moves that are easy to follow. The workout will flow from standing low-impact moves incorporating balance, strength and flexibility to Pilates-based matwork exercises. Pilates can enhance bone density, posture, cognitive function, and helps prevent injury. All movements will offer modifications for participants. 

This class will incorporate the use of a mat and chair (for standing balance and barre moves) and light hand weights for sculpting and strengthening. Participants will need to bring a mat and light hand weights. 

Dian Nissen founded Ageless Fitness in 1994 to help people of all ages and abilities improve their fitness and health through exercise. She has a Master of Science degree in Health Education and Exercise Science and holds a Gold certification from the American Council on Exercise. Dian is also a certified Pilates and Barre Master Trainer and a Bellicon Mini-Trampoline Fitness Instructor.
