This introductory class meets once a week for four weeks.
The focus is on conversation, using practical vocabulary for everyday situations. This is not an introduction to Spanish. A basic knowledge of Spanish is required (first year high-school level minimum). Handouts will be provided.

Mariela León is a native Spanish speaker and a former foreign language teacher. She graduated in Caracas Venezuela as a Licenciada en Educacion. After moving to the U.S., she taught Advance Spanish in HS for two years in Ft. Collins CO then moved to Phoenix where she worked in different School District and finished her teaching career in Cave Creek Unified School District.
